How to write an effective script for corporate video
July 6, 2024As a voiceover artist, my day typically starts early in the morning. I like to begin my with some vocal warm-ups and exercises to ensure my voice is in top form for recording. I also make sure to stay hydrated throughout the day to keep my voice clear and strong.
Once I am warmed up and ready to go, I head into my home studio where I have all of my equipment set up. This includes a high-quality microphone, headphones and recording software. I also have a script ready for the project that I will be working on that day.
Before I start recording, I take some time to review the script and make any necessary notes or adjustments. It’s important for me to understand the tone and style of the project so that I can deliver the best performance possible.
When everything is set up and ready to go, I begin recording takes of the script. This often involves multiple takes to ensure that I capture the perfect delivery. After each take, I listen back to it and make any necessary edits or adjustments before moving on to the next one.
Once all of the recording is done, I spend some time editing and fine-tuning the audio to ensure that it meets the client’s specifications. This may involve removing any mistakes or background noise, adjusting levels, or adding music or sound effects.
After everything is finalized, I send the finished audio files off to the client for approval. Once they are happy with the final product, my work for that project is complete.
Overall, being a voiceover artist requires a lot of attention to detail, patience, and dedication. It’s a challenging but rewarding job that allows me to use my voice in creative ways every day.
